Adaptive yoga
The Adaptive Sports Foundation integrates adaptive yoga into its programs whenever feasible. Participants learn stress reduction techniques through movement, breathing techniques and deep relaxation.

Participants with cognitive disabilities such a as post traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury and autism spectrum disorder find yoga calming, centering and healing.
Participants with physical disabilities ranging from limb loss and paralysis, to spina bifida and rheumatoid arthritis, find strength, flexibility and a sense of physical and emotional ease through practicing yoga.
