Bob Stubbs, Past Board Chair and longtime donor retires from ASF Board of Trustees

It is with both gratitude and regret that we announce Bob Stubbs will be retiring from the ASF Board of Trustees.

Bob’s involvement with the ASF started over 33 years

ago when his son, Grant, took his first skiing lesson with us. In 2000, Bob joined the ASF Board of Trustees as Treasurer. He held that position until 2005, when he was elected Board Chair.

In partnership with other major donors and stakeholders, Bob was instrumental in the acquisition, development, and construction of the Gwen Allard Adaptive Sports Center. The center represented a milestone that solidified our presence on the mountaintop and contributed to our growth as an organization.

Bob and his wife Rosie have been huge supporters of the ASF.  You can always find them front and center at our many functions.  They have hosted numerous Warrior in Motion programs at their home in Windham as well as the Ridgewood Country Club in New Jersey (Bob’s second home).  The annual ASF Golf Outing has been held at the Ridgewood Country Club for many years.

Bob will remain closely involved with the ASF organization and has been chosen as one of the first members seated on the newly formed  Advancement and Development Board.

Please join us in extending our thanks and admiration to Bob for an outstanding record of service to the Adaptive Sports Foundation.
