“My son is extremely social, so the pandemic was pretty devastating for him,” says Lori Tietjen, whose son, Wesley, is a bi-skier with cerebral palsy. “The ASF’s Move Together Apart virtual program was an amazing experience for Wes.”
Last year, we developed new ways to serve our participants even when they couldn’t be physically with us at the Adaptive
Sports Center. We launched our virtual Move Together Apart program, taking our mission off the slopes and into the home, so everyone could stay active – and stay connected. This program will continue post pandemic as it is a great way for our ASF participants and volunteers to connect and stay active while at home!
