About Big SNOW
Big SNOW American Dream is the ideal learning environment for folks who are new to skiing and snowboarding. It is North America’s first real-snow, year round, indoor ski, and snowboard resort. Located adjacent to the New Jersey Meadowlands Sports Complex within the American Dream retail and entertainment center, Big SNOW provides ideal snow conditions year- round within climate-controlled slopes. The 180,000 square foot snow center offers a variety of experiences for all skill levels and ages. The climate controlled environment ensures consistent snow and weather conditions; and an excellent terrain-based-learning area, lessons are smooth and streamlined, without the added variables of a traditional mountain resort. Lessons are $185 for a 2-hour session. We offer two sessions each month from June- September. All lessons are from 4pm-6pm and 6pm-8pm. Full schedule can be found below:
Summer 2026 Big SNOW Ski/Snowboard Lesson Dates
June 2 & 3 – Please Request Lesson by May 19 at the latest
July 28 & 29 – Please Request Lesson by July 14 at the latest
August 5 & 6 – Please Request Lesson by July 22 at the latest
September 1 & 2 – Please Request Lesson by August 18 at the latest
No gear? No problem! Big Snow has you covered, literally. Snowpants, jackets, helmets, boots, and skis/board rentals are all included in the price of lessons. Yes, jackets and snowpants are needed for lessons. While it may be a hot summer day outside, the slope area of Big Snow is climate controlled to a consistent 28°F.
The booking process is different than during our Winter Program. To request a lesson, please fill out the following form(s) and select each day that you would like a lesson. We confirm each session 2-4 weeks in advance to try to give as many people as possible a chance to sign up as the summer goes on. We will reach out to you if your lesson is confirmed or if you are on the waitlist. If your lesson is confirmed, you will also receive an invoice and waivers to complete for the summer. Please be sure to pay for your lesson and fill out the waivers before the day of your lesson.
Please note that the minimum age that students can be to sign up is 5 years old. If you are new to ASF, please fill out a Participant Registration form to help us understand your support needs and insure that we match you up with a team of instructors that is best suited for you!
