Summer Programs

The ASF offers a variety of summer sport opportunities including paddling, skateboarding, biking, and hiking.  These activities take place in a beautiful setting in Windham and the surrounding area.

Multi-Sport Summer Camps

The ASF offers a variety of summer sport opportunities all right here in Windham. Campers can expect activities such as paddling, biking, hiking, golf and more. Our four-day camps go from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. each day, and take place primarily at nearby Camp Oh-Neh-Tah. Lunch will take place each day from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Note: The amount of campers for each session is based on the student’s individual needs and our volunteer’s availability. We will reach back out if we cannot accommodate the participant in this camp.

Each Multi-Sport Summer Camp session is $350.00

Summer Camp Activities

Lake Activities Mountain Biking Golf
Silver Lake is located a few miles east of Windham at Camp Oh-Neh-Tah. The lake offers a picturesque facility to explore kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and swimming.

All watercraft and life vests will be provided by the ASF. 

During all lake activities, the ASF will have a lifeguard on duty.

Try mountain biking on the paths and dirt roads of Camp Oh-Neh-Tah. We will learn about the bikes and the best techniques to ride on varied terrain.

If you have your own bike, please let us know.

Golf basics will be taught at Christman’s Golf Reort – Valley Course just west of Windham. Campers will try out different golf clubs on the driving range, chip and putt on the putting green, and may even play a couple of holes on the course.
Basketball Hiking/Nature Walks Soccer
Campers will learn basic basketball skills and participate in friendly competitions. Silver Lake has beautiful trails surrounding it. Campers will explore the forest from the trails of this beautiful area and learn more about different trees, plants and wildlife. Campers will learn basic soccer skills and participate in friendly competitions.

Adaptive Skateboard Camp

The ASF will host five adaptive skateboard camp days this upcoming summer, and has hired Johnny O’Connor and more pro-level skateboard coaches to offer our students the best training available. Whether you’re a beginner or you’ve been shredding for a long time, there’s a spot and a coach for you. Have your own board? Don’t forget to bring your gear. Helmets and water will be provided by ASF.

The ASF offers three packages:

Full Package: Includes beginner skateboard w/trucks, elbow, wrist and knee pads. Take it all home with you! – $200.00

Rental Package: Includes rental of beginner skateboard w/trucks, elbow, wrist and knee pads. – $85.00

Program Only: If you are bringing your own gear and board. – $75.00

Windham Adventure Park What Should I Bring?
   
ASF skateboarders will meet at Windham Mountain’s Adventure Park each morning, located across South Street from Windham Mountain.

Lunch

A Barbecue Lunch is included. Lunch will take place each day from 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
