WINDHAM, N.Y. – The Adaptive Sports Foundation (ASF) is sad to share that longtime volunteer, Vincent J. Femenella, passed away on June 29, 2024.
Vin’s passion for ski instruction and his ability to make others laugh and smile made him a perfect volunteer for the ASF. In over 25 years with our organization, Vin spread his passion for skiing and outdoor recreation to hundreds of individuals with disabilities and in 2001, he won the Ralph Hartman Volunteer of the Year Award.
Vin’s presence will be missed dearly in the halls of the Gwen Allard Adaptive Sports Center. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date.
