The Adaptive Sports Foundation is broken-hearted to learn of the passing of student Edward Hart, Jr. Ed was a longtime skier at the ASF, and was a member of the Seasonal Sliders program. It was hard to miss Ed on the slopes, not only because of his height, but because he radiated positivity and joy. Because of this attitude, he was a recipient of the Stu Smith “Magic Man” Award which is presented to the student who best exemplifies enthusiasm, good cheer and love of snow sports that ski season.

For those interested in attending the services for Ed, visitations will be held on Monday, June 3 from 4-8 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home, in West Sayville, New York. The funeral mass will take place Tuesday, June 4 at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence R.C. Church in Sayville with his interment at St. Lawrence Cemetery to follow.
