ASF welcomes two new staff members

Josh Misevcis
Equipment and Building Supervisor
Josh@adaptivesportsfoundation.org

Josh was born and raised in the Catskills.  He’s had a lifelong passion for mountain biking but isn’t afraid of a road ride every now and then.  He spent his 20’s professionally racing downhill mountain bikes for Cannondale Factory Racing while managing a ski and bike shop to pay the bills.  Between racing and working he crammed in a 4 year college education at SUNY Cortland and completed his BA in Sports Management in 2007.  Josh didn’t discover skiing/snowboarding till almost 16 when some friends took him to the top of the Belt Parkway at Hunter Mountain.  When he isn’t working he spends his time road riding, mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, camping, and bike touring.

Sadie Saccoccie
Race Team Lead Snowboard Coach
Sadie@adaptivesportsfoundation.org

Sadie grew up coming to Windham in the winters. She learned to ski at age two and by age ten she knew she was going to be an avid snowboarder. Within her first year of snowboarding, she started competing in the Catskill Mountain Series. She first volunteered at the Adaptive Sports Foundation in 2010, while continuing to compete on the side. She enjoyed alpine racing the most and was ranked 4th nationally at age 21 before retiring her bib. After volunteering for six years, Sadie is excited to join the ASF team as the Lead Snowboard Coach. Other than her career on the snow she enjoys music festivals, photography, archery, practicing massage therapy, and spending quality time with friends and family.

The ASF welcomes Josh and Sadie to the ASF team.
