ASF athlete Staci Mannella and her guide, Kim Seevers, will head across the big pond (that’s the Atlantic Ocean of course) to Austria for training with the US Paralympics Alpine National Team. The girls leave Thursday, October 13th on an overnight flight to Munich, Germany. They’ll arrive at their destination, Hintertux Resort, at lunchtime on Friday. Kim and Staci are flying out of Newark while the rest of the team flies through Dulles, so they’ll meet up with their teammates at the hotel. GS and slalom training will be the fare for the week, with free skiing, drills, and gate time coming in three day blocks. Off days will include a trip over to Solden to watch the able-bodied World Cup races. Watch this space for updates on the Great Adventure direct from Staci and Kim in Hintertux, Austria.
