Tee It Up For Adaptive Sports Golf Outing September 30

WINDHAM, N.Y. – The Adaptive Sports Foundation will be hosting its annual charity golf tournament, Tee It Up For Adaptive Sports, sponsored by A. Colarusso & Son, Inc. on September 30 at Windham Country Club.

This is the 20th year of our outing, and it features a day of golf, lunch on the course, prizes, contests and our 19th Hole Reception, which is a cocktail party that includes an open bar with top-shelf liquor, heavy hors d’oeuvres and camaraderie. The four-person scramble tournament is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. The course’s driving range and putting green will be open beforehand as well for golfers to warm up before their day on the course.

There are plenty of prizes available, including not one, but two hole-in-one contest cars. Two holes will be designated as hole-in-one contest holes, and each one gives golfers a chance to win a new car, one Jeep and one Ford. Other prizes include free rounds of golf at local golf courses, gift cards, swag bags and more.

It costs $175 per golfer to participate in this event, and that includes a ticket to the 19th Hole Reception. Whether you have a full foursome or you’re a solo player looking for a day on the links, you are free to sign up. Not only will you be enjoying a day of golf, food and company, but you’ll also be supporting a great cause, as all proceeds benefit the Adaptive Sports Foundation.

Our charity golf tournament is still accepting sponsorships as well. If you or your business is interested in sponsoring this event, a full list of sponsorship opportunities and prices can be found here.

Both the player registration and the sponsorship registration deadlines are next Wednesday, September 14. If you’re interested in joining in on the fun, visit the Tee It Up For Adaptive Sports webpage or reach out to James Mitchell, ASF’s Fundraising and Social Media Coordinator by email at james@adaptivesportsfoundation.org.

The ASF will be represented at Windham Country Club all weekend after our tournament. If you can’t make it to the course on September 30, but you still want to learn more about our foundation, we’ll have representatives in the pro shop on October 1-2 explaining our mission and accepting donations.

The Adaptive Sports Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides profound and life changing experiences for children and adults with physical disabilities, cognitive disabilities and chronic illnesses through outdoor physical activity, education, support and community.
