Young professionals organize for Adaptive Sports Foundation

img_9502The Adaptive Sports Foundation’s Young Professionals Club is a group of current volunteers, former volunteers, and young professionals ages 18 – 35 who are raising awareness for the Adaptive Sports Foundation.

The group was founded in 2016 by a set of individuals with the goal to extend the arm of the ASF into the young professional world. img_9511Many young volunteers, after college, felt the desire to increase their involvement with the cause.

Members of the ASF Young Professionals leadership committee aim to access the niche audience of young adults who have entered the workforce and want to become involved in a cause. Through events and fundraisers the committee hopes to raise awareness for the ASF and bring its mission to generations everywhere!

The group’s first event called, “Toast the Season!”, was held at the Windham Country Club in Windham on December 30th.  Over 100 individuals toasted the winter season, enjoyed a reggae band and raised close to $6,000 for the Adaptive Sports Foundation.  By all accounts it was a great time and everyone left looking forward to the group’s next event.
