WINDHAM, N.Y. — The Adaptive Sports Foundation has announced the hiring of Jeff Vannoy as the organization’s building and equipment manager.
“I’m excited to be part of an organization that is so impactful to its community and has such a meaningful mission,” Jeff said. “I’m looking forward to my future with the ASF, and I’m thrilled to be aboard.”
Jeff brings a diverse background in building maintenance and operations. He has experience working as a custodian as well as a farm and estate manager, where he was responsible for maintaining four buildings and structures. His duties included addressing maintenance issues, painting and managing landscaping across the property.
Most recently, Jeff spent the past year in the distilling industry. He began as an assistant distiller at Killington Distillery before accepting a position as master of barrels and blends at Bhakta Spirits. While at Bhakta, Jeff led the build-out of a new spirits production facility from the ground up, overseeing layout, equipment installation and workflow design. He also managed daily bottling operations, developed whiskey blends for core products and experimented with new product formulations, while overseeing general plant operations.
The ASF is excited to welcome Jeff to the staff. In his new role, he will be responsible for maintaining the organization’s equipment inventory, including skis, snowboards, adaptive equipment and bikes. He will also oversee upkeep of the Gwen Allard Adaptive Sports Center and the surrounding property.
