ASF’s Board of Trustees welcomes Vince Passione as new Interim Chairperson

Vince Passione, ASF Interim Board of Trustees Chairman

In July 2017, the ASF Board of Trustees unanimously appointed Vince Passione as Interim Chairperson.  Bob Stubbs, longtime ASF Chairperson is stepping down to spend more time with his family.  The Adaptive Sports Foundation is forever grateful to Bob Stubbs for his tireless dedication and service to our organization.  Stubbs will remain an active member of the ASF Board of Trustees and ASF family.

Passione is entering his 15th season as a volunteer snowboard instructor with the ASF and has been serving on the ASF Board of Trustees since 2010.  During Passione’s tenure with the ASF, he has co-founded Ride2Live, a beginner snowboard camp for children on the autistic spectrum, provided invaluable leadership insight as a member of the ASF Board of Trustees, and most recently has become a race coach for the ASF’s Adaptive Snowboard Team.  The ASF is also a family affair for the Passione household.  Both of Vince’s daughters, Maura and Deirdre, have been volunteer instructors and Vince’s wife, Terry, has served on both the Ride2Live and Winter Gala & Auction committees.

Professionally, Passione is the founder and CEO of LendKey, the market’s most advanced lending platform and network, and a veteran technologist for financial services companies. Before LendKey, Vince was the COO of DealerTrack, the nation’s first and largest automotive credit portal. He has also been the President of Ameritrade’s Institutional Client Division, the CEO of OnMoney.com, and the CTO of Citigroup’s Citi F/I. Vince began his career in technology at IBM and received his bachelor of science degree from Polytechnic University.

Todd Munn, Executive Director states, “Congratulations to Vince on his appointment as interim Chairman of the Board.  Vince has proven his investment in, and great commitment to, the Adaptive Sports Foundation through his many years as a volunteer instructor and his great value as a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee.  I have consistently and repeatedly benefitted from his wisdom, experience and insight and look forward to working closely with him on the many facets of ASF.”
